Abstract

Offers useful advice to children's librarians in dealing with reference enquiries originating in homework questions. Stresses the important role of the librarians in helping users to learn how to fing things out for themselves rather than simply supply a quick answer and notes that helping young users with homework is an opportunity to educate parents on the proper use of the public library
