Abstract

Der rasante Fortschritt in der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik, das Entstehen neuer Nachfragestrukturen und die zunehmende Globalisierung des Marktgeschenehs haben dazu geführt, daß sich in den vergangenen Jahren ein außerordentlich heterogener Markt für elektronische Informationsdienste entwickelt hat. Noch im Jahre 1985, dem 'Geburtsjahr' von cogito, dominierten 'klassische' Informationsprodukte wie Online-Datenbanken den weltweiten MArkt für elektronische Informationsdienste. Das hat sich in den letzten 10 Jahren dramatisch geändert
