Abstract
Increasingly, librarians in the USA have been using new technologies to develop or collaborate on community networks. These community networks are often created in collaboration with other local agencies and advocacy groups, weaving libraries more tightly into the community organism. Gives examples which illustrate some of the roles and relationships libraries are carving out with respect to community networks
