Abstract
Durch die besondere Rolle der Sportwissenschaft als Querschnittswissenschaft ergeben sich auch für Vertreter anderer, klkassischer Wissenschaftsdisziplinen Berührungspunkte, wenn es um die Ermittlung relevanter Literaturstellen bei der Thematisierung von Bewegung, Spiel und Sport geht. Da mit SPOLIT und SPOWIS zwei der vier weltweit verfügbaren sportwissenschaftlichen Literaturdatenbanken auf CD-ROM deutschen Ursprungs sind, sollen diese Informationsquellen auch dem Nutzerkreis außerhalb des Sports bekannt gemacht werden. Aus der alltäglichen Arbeit sportwissenschaftlicher Bibliotheken und Informations- und Dokumentationseinrichtungen sind beide Datenbanken nicht mehr wegzudenken, wie die Ergebnisse einer Befragung der entsprechenden Einrichtungen sowie einer Endnutzergruppe zeigen
