Abstract
Im Jahr 1993 startete das Projekt InfoBase an der Universität Freiburg als Kooperationsprojekt zwischen dem Rechenzentrum und der UB. In einer guten Zusammenarbeit zwischen diesen beiden zentralen Einrichtungen konnte das Projektteam bisher sehr erfolgreich die Versorgung der Universität mit elektronischer Fachinformation über das Datennetz organisieren. Dank des hohen Engagements - auch in finanzieller Hinsicht - von RZ und UB verfügt die Universität Freiburg heute über ein hervorragendes Werkzeug zur elektronischen Informationsversorgung. Erste Projekte für landesweite Angebote zeigen, daß Kooperationen mehrerer Einrichtungen im Land Vorteile für alle Beteiligten mit sich bringen, wenn sich auch heute noch die Begeisterung der lizenzgebenden Datenbankhersteller und Anbieter in deutlichen Grenzen hält. In der zweiten Hälfte des Jahres 1996 soll veruscht werden, das bisherige Angebot bibliographischer Datendienste mit Volltextdatenbanken zu ergänzen. Daß dies auch alles von den Benutzern so gewollt ist und angenommen wird, zeigen Nutzungsstatistiken und eine im Jahr 1995 durchgeführte Nutzerbefragung
