Abstract

Immer mehr CD-ROMs enthalten einen integrierten Online-Anschluß. Während umfangreichere Datenbestände auf der Silberscheibe lokal gespeichert sind, kommen über das Netzwerk aktuelle Informationen oder werden Bestell- und Buchungsmöglichkeiten angeboten. Ob elektronische Kataloge, Werbespiele oder Informationssysteme - die Hybrid-CD-ROM nutzt die spezifischen Vorteile der beiden Medien und vermeidet gleichzeitig ihre Nachteile
