Abstract

Comments on the enthusiasm with which students have taken to using CD-ROM databases but expresses concern at the way many use these tools to the exclusion of other sources and are blissfully unaware of the information that they may be missing. Examines the effect this trend has had on the role of librarians and the pressure on them to reorganize their libraries to deal with the demand for CD-ROMs
