Abstract

"Anläßlich eines Besuches von OCLC hatte ich den Auftrag des Bibliotheksservicezentrums Baden-Württemberg, die Wechselwirkung des lokalen Katalogisierungsmoduls der Ohio State University (und dessen OPAC mit dem Namen OSCAR) und dem staatlichen Verbund OhioLINK anzusehen. Der Vergleich ist für die deutsche Landschaft von besonderer Bedeutung, da die lokale Katalogisierung der Ohio State University und des Verbundes OhioLINK als Modell für den Kooperativen Bibliotheksverbund Berlin-Brandenburg diente
