Abstract

Review of Verity Search '97, a search interface tool which allows users to post queires to PCs, hard discs, a network or even the Internet using familiar browser technology. It is useful for example in maintaining large files of incoming e-mail on a hard disc and retrieving the messages by author or text and then linking them with other files. Its full value can only be relaized as part of a larger installation such as Windows95; it is less valuable with systems tied to Windows 3.x
