Abstract

Das Hinzukommen neuer Nutzungsformen und Benutzerkreise hat neue Anforderungen an die Abfrage von Datenbanken und an die über sie verfügbaren Informationen entstehen lassen. Die Folgen sind neue Systeme und Anbieter wie T-Online oder CompuServe, auf spezielle Kundekreise zugeschnittene Angebote der Anbieter - sowohl preislich als auch in den Informationsinhalten - und neue Abfragetechniken, die vor allem auf Windows- und Browser-Technik basieren. Über die neuen Benutzerkreise und Angebote ist es auch zu einem veränderten benutzerverhalten gekommen. Im folgenden werden Vergleiche zwischen der Nutzung eine traditionellen Systems (Online-Service), dem Angebot über Internet (FIZWEB) und T-Online beim Datenbankanbieter FIZ Technik gezogen
