Abstract

Gegenstand der Arbeit ist die Diskussion grundsätzlicher Fragen, die für die Politik des ausgehenden 20. Jahrhunderts von bestimmender Bedeutung sind. Dies schließt weltweit drängende Probleme ebenso ein wie aktuelle Entscheidungsfragen der westlichen Industriestaaten auf dem Weg in die Informationsgesellschaft. Der vorliegende Text nimmt Bezug auf die von Lothar Späth zu diesem Themenbereich vorgelegte, umfangreiche Gesamtdarstellung 'Wende in die Zukunft' und geht insbesondere auf Zusammenhänge zu Themenbereichen wie 'Technologie, Wachstum und Beschäftigung' ein. Dabei wird versucht, die Sichtweise tangierter wissenschaftlicher Disziplinen unter Berücksichtigung evolutionstheoretischer und systemtheoretischer Aspekte einzubeziehen
