Abstract

In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden die Bedingungen für Dokumentation, Archivierung und Recherche bei einem kleinen lokalen Fernsehsender untersucht. Für das gesendete Filmmaterial besteht zwar ein zentralen Archiv, es ist aber aufgrund seiner Erschließungsqualität nicht effizient. Deshalb wird vorgeschlagen, die datenbankgestützte Dokumentation durch zusätzliche suchbare Felder und Schlagwörter aus einer vereinbarten Liste zu erweitern. 4.195 Beitragstitel und dazugehörige Kategorien wurden analysiert, um die idealen Schlagwörter zu finden. Für die Wiederverwendung besonders geeigneter Videosequenzen wird eine zusätzliche Bildbeschreibung empfohlen, außerdem die Einrichtung einer zentralen, betriebsinternen Informationsstelle angeregt und eine Servicestelle für Zuschauer vorgeschlagen
