Describes the concept of the CD / Web hybrid, in which the content, interface and connectivity of the WWW is combined with the speed, portability and capacity of the CD-ROM. The technology can be used to deliver a 'Web site on a CD-ROM' and common applications include: sales support, promotion, prospect education, electronic commerce catalogues and customer care
