In June 1997 the British Library (BL) organized a seminar to consider and discuss some of the issues facing the BL as it seeks to develop the scope and coverage of the BNB. Lists the key points discussed and draws attentian to a consultation paper published by the BL seeking the views of the wider library and information community on whether its approach is a valid one
