Abstract
Die Veröffentlichung, die als praktische Hilfe für alle an der Thematik Interessierten angelegt ist und aus diesem Grund auch durch 11 ausführliche beispiele (Vorlage - gefelderte Form [MAB-Katgeorien] - ISBD-Form - Erläuterungen) ergänzt wird, enthält in einem Kapitel sowohl alle Bestimmungen der RAK-WB, die nur für alte Drucke gelten, als auch diejenigen, die insbesondere alte Drucke betreffen. Weitere Teile enthalten die Fingerprint-Regeln sowie Empfehlungen zu Gattungsbegriffen ('Göttinger Liste'), zur orthographischen Normierung und zur Normierung von Erscheinungsorten. Die Aneignung der Regeln wird außer durch die schon erwähnten Beispiele durch ein Glossar mit für die Titelaufnahme wichtigen Fachbegriffen aus dem bereich der alten Drucke unterstützt
