Doch die Enzyklopädie kann wesentlich mehr als ein herkömmliches Lexikon. Neben den Textinhalten finden Sie 2800 Bilder sowie mehr als 25 Minuten Filmmaterial aus Wochenschauen und Dokumentarfilmen. Dazu gibt es 110 Minuten Tondokumente. Über 55.000 Einträge zu Politik und Wirtschaft, Literatur und Philosophie, Malerei und Musik sowie Wissenschaft und Alltagsleben haben die Herausgeber zusammengetragen.
