Abstract

Es kam mir in dieser Arbeit besonders darauf an zu zeigen, daß dann, wenn der eigentliche Kern aller Kognition in ihrer Fähigkeit besteht, Bedeutung und Sinn zu erzeugen, Information nicht als irgendeine vorgegebene Ordnung aufgefaßt werden kann, sondern den Regularitäten entspricht, die sich aus den kognitiven Aktivitäten selbst ergeben. Diese meine neue Konzeption hat vielfältige wissenschaftliche, technische, philosophische und ethische Konsequenzen. Sie legt im besonderen größten Wert darauf, die Sehweise klar zu machen, nach der die kognitionswissenschaftliche Forschung in Europa weiterentwickelt werden muß: auf ihre eigene, kraftvolle und die Fülle ihrer einzigartigen Traditionen voll ausschöpfende Weise
