Abstract

Presents a favourable review of LEXIS -NEXIS Universe (LNU) from LEXIS-NEXIS of Dayton, Ohio. The Web based product offers legacy system search power, an effective user interface, and the features that Web users have come to expect. The product is available with transactional and flat rate pricing plans. LNU is comprised of 8 major subjects including News, Medical, Company, Country, People, Public Records, Government, and Legal, and each is further divided into sub-categories. The customizable search screens are the outstanding feature, offering pull-down menus and supporting Boolean commands and proximity operators
