Abstract

FirstSearch is an online research tool for end users accessing the OCLC Online Union Catalogue and a variety of reference data bases. Provides search costs and pricing structure, describes the development and testing of the system and discusses the system's use and feedback from users. Examines future enhancements. The new system was initially introduced at the Ohie State University Library with OCLC I, OCLC II and ERIC
