Abstract

Seit April 2000 ist die Retrievalseite des Système Universitaire de Documentation operational und der von Pica (Leiden) im Auftrag der Zentrale dieses französischen Verbundes, ABES, realisierte Verbund der französischen Universitätsbibliotheken damit greifbare Realität. Der vorliegende Beitrag skizziert die Ausgangssituation der französischen Universitätsbibliotheken, das Projektprogramm für den Aufbau des Systeme Universitaire, den Projektzeitplan und den derzeit erreichten Realisierungsstand. Der Beitrag schließt mit einer kurzen Darstellung der Kooperationsperspektiven, die sich auf Basis des bereits Erreichten eröffnen
