Abstract

In den Jahren 1999 und 2000 haben die Stadtbibliotheken Krefeld, Mönchengladbach und Neuss gemeinsam ein Projekt durchgeführt, in dem erprobt werden sollte, unter welchen Bedingungen Lektorierungsarbeiten nach einem durch die drei Bibliotheken selbst erstellten Profil von einem externen Dienstleister - in diesem Falle die ekz - durchgeführt werden können, ohne dass Qualitätsverluste im Bestandsaufbau der Bibliotheken hingenommen werden müssen. An dieser Stelle soll nur eine Erfahrung herausgegriffen werden, die sich durch das Erfordernis einer umfassenden Qualitätskontrolle während der Projektlaufzeit ergab. Diese Erfahrung betrifft im Kern den Informationsdienst (ID) der Lektoratskooperation
