Abstract
Fernsehnachrichten sind eine der wichtigsten Quellen für Informationen über das aktuelle In- und Auslandsgeschehen. Das Verstehen der Fernsehnachrichten setzt sprachliche Fähigkeiten, thematische und medienspezifische Kenntnisse voraus, die weit über die Anforderungen in Alltagskommunikationen hinausgehen. der Zugang zu Informationen kann gefördert werden, indem die rezeptive Sprach- und Medienkompetenz erweitert und wiederkehrende Muster der Berichterstattung transparent gemacht werden
