Abstract
Der nachfolgende Bericht beschränkt sich auf eine Zusammenfassung der B. Jahrestagung der IuK-Initiative und geht im Schwerpunkt auf die von der DGI gestaltete Session "Informationskompetenz in Wissenschaft und Öffentlichkeit" ein. Im Anschluß an die referierten Beiträge der einzelnen Redner wird der Hauptvortrag der Sitzung im Original abgedruckt. Der interessierte Leser kann sich das umfassende Bild der Tagung anhand der erstmals aufgelegten elektronischen Abstracts unter http://www.vdbiol.de/bw/IuK2002/abs/abstractsonly.pdf verschaffen.
