Abstract

In Deutschland gehen die Verhandlungen um die Novellierung des Urheberschutzgesetzes im Januar weiter. Worum es dabei grundsätzlich geht, erläuterte Brion Kahin in seinem Vortrag auf einer Tagung der Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung, aus dem wir Auszüge abdrucken. Kahin leitet das Center for Information Policy an der University of Maryland und diente der ClintonRegierung als Berater in Fragen des Electronic Commerce und der Internet-Regulierung.
