Abstract

Describes the RUBIKON on-line catalogue (OPAC) at Roskilde University Library, Denmark, and the auxiliary search tool, proposed by the library, designed to give better search facilities and handle 'no hit' situations. The tool consists of a search command which expands a search by consulting various types of lexical reference records and performs a series of Boolean OR searches on items from the list. Proposes 3 types of lexical reference records: name records; terminological help records; and classification schedule records
