Die deutsche Übersetzung des DDC-Lehrbuchs Dewey Decimal Classification: Principles and Application bietet für Studierende und praktisch mit dem DDC-Klassifizieren und -Recherchieren Arbeitende eine umfassende Einführung in die theoretischen Grundlagen der Klassifikation, ergänzt durch fachliche Aspekte und viele Einzelbeispiele. Der Gebrauch der Hilfstafeln und die Notationssynthesezwei wesentliche Elemente der DDC - werden detailliert erläutert und mit praktischen Übungen vertieft.
