Abstract

Für was braucht man noch Bibliotheken? Es steht doch sowieso alles im Internet. Bei Jugendlichen trifft man nicht selten auf diese Meinung. Dass es neben dem Internet auch noch andere Informationsmittel gibt und dass diese genau so wie das Internet über Vor- und Nachteile verfügen, das können Schüler seit Beginn dieses Jahres in der Stadtbibliothek Göppingen lernen. Die medienvergleichenden Schulungen kommen bei Besuchern aller Schularten gut an. Eine gesunde Mischung aus Theorie und Praxis motiviert zum mitarbeiten, und am Ende des Kurses hören die Bibliothekare immer wieder die erstaunte Feststellung: »Bücher taugen ja doch etwas«. Joana Petsonias stellt das erfolgreiche Projekt vor.
