Abstract

Prozesse bilden die Grundlage für die berufliche Weiterbildung in der IT Branche: Mit diesem neuen Konzept für qualifiziertes und strukturiertes Lernen am Arbeitsplatz und in realen Projekten geht das Fraunhofer ISST in dem Projekt "Arbeitsprozessorientierte Weiterbildung in der IT-Branche" (APO-IT) neue Wege. 35 neue Profile auf drei Ebenen bis hin zu hochschuladäquaten Abschlüssen wurden im Rahmen der beruflichen Neuordnung [Verord02, Vereinb02] der IT-Branche definiert. Ausgehend von den 1997 neu geschaffenen Ausbildungsberufen wie dem Fachinformatiker oder dem Informatikkaufmann wurden 29 Spezialisten, vier operative und zwei strategische Professionals definiert. Die Spezialisten sind in sechs Funktionsgruppen unterteilt, die Techniker, die Softwareentwickler, die Entwicklungsbegleiter, die Lösungsentwickler, die Administratoren sowie die Produkt und Kundenbetreuer. Der Datenbankentwickler - der im Folgenden als Beispiel dienen wird - gehört zur Gruppe der Software-Entwickler. Als Kennzeichen für den Database Developer dienen zum einen der Gegenstand, mit dem sich dieser Spezialist beschäftigt, nämlich Datenbanken, zum anderen der "Referenzprozess" als profiltypischer Arbeitsprozess. Die Darstellung des Arbeitsprozesses erfolgt anhand eines abstrahierten Datenbankentwicklungsprojekts und zeigt aus der Sicht des Spezialisten seine profilprägenden Tätigkeiten im Entwicklungsprozess. Die Struktur der jeweiligen Referenzprozesse liegt auch der Einteilung der Spezialisten in die genannten Funktionsgruppen zu Grunde. Die operativen und strategischen Professionals sind ebenfalls durch ihre typischen Arbeitsprozesse gekennzeichnet. Projektmanagement, Linienfunktionen, Beratung sowie Mitarbeiterführung sind typische Beispiele für die Tätigkeiten operativer Professionals. Langfristige Unternehmensentwicklung ist einer der Referenzprozesse, die ein strategischer Professional verantwortet und durchführt. Arbeitsprozessorientiert sind neben den neuen Berufsbildern auch die Weiterbildungs- und Zertifizierungsbestimmungen. Die Umsetzung einer arbeitsprozessorientierten Weiterbildung erfolgt über "Transferprojekte": Ein Weiterbildungsteilnehmer sucht sich ein reales Projekt an seinem Arbeitsplatz, welches in Niveau, Komplexität und Umfang dem Referenzprojekt entspricht. Dieses wird gemäß dem Referenzprojekt strukturiert und dann durchgeführt.
