Abstract

Mit der Telekommunikation ist ein relativ neuer, interdisziplinärer Forschungsbereich entstanden, der sich aus der Überlappung von Mathematik, Physik, Elektro- / sowie Nachrichtentechnik und der Informatik ergibt. Die wissenschaftliche Forschung lebt vom freien Austausch von Fachwissen, sei es über Publikationen (Paper), Konferenzvorträgen oder der Nutzung neuer Medien und deren online Services. Da eine unstrukturierte Suche nach Informationen im Internet leicht zu einem Overkill an Resultaten führen kann, sind aufbereitete, fachlich eingeschränkte Angebote mit den richtigen Keywords erforderlich. In diesem Zusammenhang soll auf die Bedeutung von unterschiedlichen Klassifikationen eingegangen sowie andere interdisziplinäre Portale betrachtet werden.
