Abstract
Lehrangebote zur Vermittlung von Informationskompetenz - ob modularisiert, semesterbegleitend mit Credit Points oder als E-Learning-Angebot - sind im Bibliothekswesen en vogue und sind auch hier im "Bibliotheksdienst" in verschiedenen Varianten des öfteren thematisiert worden. Die Bedeutung von Informationskompetenz als Grundvoraussetzung lebenslangen Lernens ist unbestritten. Ziemlich rar und wenig institutionalisiert sind jedoch auch im internationalen Überblick Projekte zur Vermittlung von Informationskompetenz an Absolventen oder an Berufstätige aus kleinen Unternehmen.
