Abstract

An der Technischen Universität München (TUM) wird vor dem Hintergrund ihrer spezifischen Struktur, ihres besonderen wissenschaftlichen Profils und der bislang gesammelten Erfahrungen mit eLearning eine umfassende und integrierte eLearning-Strategie umgesetzt (Projekt elecTUM/Start zum 1. Juni 2005), welche Präsenzstudium und eLearning in allen Leistungsbereichen der Universität miteinander verzahnt. Das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) fördert das Projekt im Rahmen des Förderprogramms zur "Entwicklung und Erprobung von Organisationsmodellen zur verstärkten Nutzung von E-Learning und E-Teaching an Hochschulen" für drei Jahre mit knapp 1,4 Mio. Euro. Ziel ist es, eLearning grundsätzlich und nachhaltig an der TUM zu verankern, die Integration mit der IT-Infrastruktur sicherzustellen und die TUM für zukünftige Herausforderungen am Bildungsmarkt zu positionieren. Wesentliche Aspekte bei der Umsetzung der TUM eLearning-Strategie sind: - Die Bereitstellung einer leistungsfähigen, flexibel einsetzbaren und anpassbaren Lernplattform und deren zentraler Betrieb - Der professionelle Support für die Entwicklung neuer eLearning-Angebote und deren Einbindung in geeignete Lehr- und Lernszenarien durch fachliche Beratung und geeignete Schulungs- und Weiterbildungsangebote - Die Einbettung von eLearning in die Studien- und Prüfungsordnungen der Fakultäten - Die Schaffung von Anreizsystemen für die Erstellung von eLearning-Materialien und deren Einsatz: - Die Integration in eine durchgängige Benutzer-, Daten- und Studienverwaltung - Die Entwicklung und Umsetzung eines Konzepts für eLearning in der internen Weiterbildung und Personalentwicklung - Die Öffnung der eLearning-Infrastruktur für die externe wissenschaftliche Aus- und Weiterbildung - Konzepte für die Vermarktung der eLearning-Angebote
