Abstract

Die Entstehung und Gestaltung intraorganisationaler Netzwerke ist Teil der gegenwärtigen Entwicklung zur Informationsgesellschaft. Dieses Buch befasst sich mit der Entstehung von Netzwerken zwischen Mitarbeitern eines Unternehmens und den Auswirkungen auf die Performanz dieser Unternehmen. Dabei wird erstmalig die institutionelle und evolutionäre Netzwerktheorie (Nelson/Winter) auf intraorganisationale Probleme und Interdependenzen, Lernprozesse und gelernte Kooperationen zwischen Mitarbeitern angewendet. So wird die hierarchische Unternehmensorganisation um netzwerkbasierte Interaktionsformen erweitert. Das Fallbeispiel DC eLife in der DaimlerChrysler AG illustriert die Möglichkeiten der neuen digitalen Technologien und die Einführung von Intranet-Applikationen für gewerbliche Produktionsmitarbeiter.
