Abstract
Nachrichten sind dokumentierte Schnappschüsse unserer (Zeit-)Geschichte. Sie erscheinen in zahlreichen Orten der Welt, in unterschiedlichen Sprachen und in verschiedenen Zeitabständen. Wir finden sie zeitverschoben etwa via Tages- bzw. Wochenzeitungen, Magazinen und Newsletter oder realtime via Newswire-Services. Besonders im Nachrichtenbereich sind wir mit einer Informationsmenge konfrontiert, die - wenn sie nicht gesammelt, geordnet und selektiert wird - uns als Lawine überrollt. Dies betrifft vor allen Dingen das Wirtschaftsleben. "Verpasste" Informationen können für ein Unternehmen unangenehme Folgen haben.
