Abstract
Mit neuen Web 2.0-Plattformen wie Wikis, Blogs, Facebook oder Twitter scheint es einfacher als bisher Knowledge Communities zu ermöglichen, zu unterstützen und zu fördern. Ein wesentliches Merkmal der neuen Interaktionsformen ist das Informelle. Jeder kann, muss sich aber nicht, beteiligen. Was in Public Communities erfolgreich funktioniert (z. B. Wikipedia, Twitter) und Kreativität und Innnovationen fördern kann, ist nicht in jedem Fall auf Unternehmen übertragbar. Ein relevanter Unterschied ist, dass Menschen in Unternehmen bestimmte formale Rollen zugewiesen bekommen und übernommen haben, die die Kommunikation und damit den Wissensaustausch beeinflussen. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird anhand eines Fallbeispiels gezeigt, wie die Kultivierung einer Community es ermöglichen kann, das Informelle lebendig zu halten, und zeigt, wie tradierte, althergebrachte Wissensaustausch-Strukturen in Organisationen verändert werden können.
