Abstract

Network analyses of term and concept co-occurrences are examined to demonstrate their potential in combining both in one map. Especially in time considerations it is helpful to apply general concepts as fixing points. These concepts can be taken from data bases directly (with possible indexing bias) or be generated ex post by combining certain text terms or descriptors to concepts. Alternative possibilities are discussed.
