Abstract
Die gemeinsame, integrierte Nutzung von verteilten, heterogenen Geodaten stellt eine grosse Herausforderung dar. Ein wichtiger Ansatz zur Datenintegration ist die Entwicklung von Geodaten-Infrastrukturen (GDI). Sie stellen auf regionaler, nationaler oder internationaler Ebene einen technisch-organisatorischen Rahmen zur interoperablen Nutzung von verteilten Geodaten bereit. GDI stellen an die Interoperabilität grosse Ansprüche, die über die «klassische» Interoperabilität mittels OGC-Webdiensten hinausgehen. Eines der Hauptprobleme ist dabei die semantische Heterogenität bestehender Datenmodelle. Um diese in einer GDI integriert nutzen zu können, müssen Modelltransformationen definiert und ausgeführt werden können. Ein aktueller Ansatz aus der Forschung zeigt dafür eine Lösung auf, indem OGC-Webdienste mit einem neuen Konzept für semantische Modelltransformationen kombiniert werden.
