Abstract

Dieser Beitrag berichtet von Arbeiten, die im Projekt Europeana zu Linked Data und semantischer Suchfunktionalität durchgeführt wurden und basiert auf einem Vortrag vom 23.9.2010 auf der ODOK 2010. Die geplante und auf Technologien aus dem Bereich des Semantic Web basierende Informationsarchitektur von Europeana wird skizziert. Auf diese Informationsarchitektur setzen semantische Funktionalitäten auf die als zukunftsweisende Suchfunktionalitäten in Europeana implementiert werden sollen. Anhand einiger konkreter Beispiele wird in einem zweiten Teil das Grundprinzip einer möglichen semantischen Suche in Europeana dargestellt.
