Abstract

1938 ging Orson Welles mit seinem Hörspiel "Krieg der Weiten" auf Sendung. Viele Amerikaner hielten die Invasion aus dem Weltraum für echt. Schon damals griffen einige der Mechanismen, die heute Falschmeldungen in Sozialen Medien zum Erfolg verhelfen.
