Abstract

Provides information relating to the purchase and installation of CDMARC subjects and CDMARC names based on a talk given to the May 91 general meeting of the ALIA Cataloguers' Section Victorian Group. The purchase of CDMARC names and CDMARC subjects has been justified as a saving in costs against other formats of the same cataloguing tools. The number of fiche products is diminishing as RMIT libraries and many other rely more upon online and CD-ROM databases
