Abstract

Das Rechenzentrum stellt in Zusammenarbeit mit der Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Hamburg Carl von Ossietzky ab sofort einen neuen Service in Form einer Literaturdatenbank für Recherchezwecke zur Verfügung. Diese Datenbank enthält sämtliche im Norddeutschen Bibliotheksverbund erfaßten Bestände (Bücher und Zeitschriften) - z.Zt. über 1,4 Mio. Einträge. Der Zugriff erfolgt mittels lokaler Personal Computer im Novell-Netz der Universität; Anfang nächsten Jahres auch mit Hilfe von UNIX-Workstations
