Abstract

Ecologists are interested in presenting results in forms in which patterns of interpretations are more or less evident such as statistical mapping, conventional mapping, interrelations between patterns and modelling of phenomena. Most of these techniques require the use of computer technology - statistical packages, predictive modelling and geographical information systems. Illustrates a range of mapping techniques used in 4 research projects
