Abstract

Discusses the reasons why downloading can be difficult and describes the new MELVYL capture and tags facilities, the latter of which is in experimental mode only, and the ways in which vendors of microcomputer-based bibliographic database management systems are providing the software support needed for the easy importation of information from the MELVYL system into their products
