Abstract

Die Literaturversorgung in Deutschland krankt seit langem weniger am Nachweis der erschienenen Bücher bzw. Zeitschriften- oder Zeitungsaufsätze. Die verschiedenen Einrichtungen der Fachinformation haben ein inzwischen thematisch nahezu lückeloses Netz von Datenbanken aufgebaut, seien sie online oder auf optischen Speichermedien verfügbar. Beschwerlich kann hingegen nach wie vor der Weg zum tatsächlich benötigten Wissen sein, denn dies befindet sich oft schriftlich fixiert in Bibliotheken. Diese bieten heute noch selten elektronische Bestandsnachweise oder gar die Möglichkeit der Online-Bestellung (online-ordering) an. Helfen kann in vielen Fällen das DBI in Berlin
