Abstract

Vorrangiges Ziel des Einsatzes regionaler Verbundsysteme ist die kooperative Katalogisierung der Titelbestände einer Bibliotheksregion als Nachweis für die lokale, regionale und überregionale Literaturversorgung. Zum Beispiel hat sich der Hamburger Bibliotheksverbund (HBV) 1992 zum Norddeutschen Bibliotheksverbund (NBV) erweitert. Damit ist ein länderübergreifendes Verbundsystem geschaffen worden, dessen Leistungsfähigkeit von der unentbehrlichen Kooperation zwischen den beteiligten Bibliotheken abhängt. Für die einzelne wissenschaftliche Bibliothek, die sich dem Norddeutschen Bibliotheksverbund angeschlossen hat, treten gravierende Veränderungen bezüglich der Arbeitsinhalte und Arbeitsvorgänge in der Katalogabteilung ein, insbesondere wenn der Einsatz res regionalen Verbundsystems mit dem erstmaligen EDV-Einsatz in der Bibliothek verbunden ist und zeitgleich ein neues Regelwerk zur Katalogisierung eingeführt wird. Die Tätigkeit des Katalogisierers konzentriert sich zunehmend auf die Arbeit am Bildschirmgerät, so daß Lösungsansätze für eine Arbeitsplatzgestaltung gefunden werden müssen, die dieser einseitigen Belastung entgegenwirken. Die Einführung von Mischarbeitsplätzen kann beispielsweise das bisherige Tätigkeitsspektrum des Katalogisierens erweitern
