Abstract
Die verbindliche Ausgabe der Sonderregeln RAK-AV beendet ein Regelprovisorium, das seit 1985 existierte ("Vorabdruck der verbindlichen Regelungen"). Vom Bearbeitungsstand entsprechen die Sonderregeln der neuen Ausgabe der RAK-WB (1993). Sie sind von der 'Expertengruppe RAK-AV' der Kommission des DBI für Erschließung und Katalogmanagement als Entwurf vorgelegt und in der Berufsöffentlichkeit diskutiert worden. Die Regeln sind für die Anwendung in wissenschaftlichen und Öffentlichen Bibliotheken bestimmt. In der Anlage beigefügte vollständige Beispiele ergänzen den Regelwerkstext. Wie bereits 1993 beim Erscheinen des RAK angekündigt, erscheinen die Sonderregeln in Loseblattform und können somit in den Ordner der RAK-Ausgabe ingefügt werden
