Abstract
Umfang der Überarbeitung: (1) Modernisierung der Terminologie und Verbesserung der Sachgruppenformulierungen; (2) weitere Aufgliederung von stark besetzten und benutzungsintensiven Sachgruppen; (3) Reduzierung nicht benötigter Aufgliederungen; (4) Beseitigung von Fehlern der Einordnung / Zuordnung der Sachgebiete; (5) Ausbau des Verweisungsapparates. Die Arbeiten an der ASB umfassen nicht nur die Gliederung. Erstmals sollen ein umfangreiches Schlagwortregister sowie benutzungs- und Systematisierungshilfen vorgelegt werden. Die Einführung der neuen Gliederungsteile wird durch Umsystematisierungshinweise erleichtert
