Abstract

Die Grundzüge zeigen den Versuch, mit möglichst einfachen Beschreibungsmitteln möglichst komplexe Konstruktionen der deutschen Standardsprache zu beschreiben, die z.T. noch wenig beschrieben worden sind. Die Konzeption der Grundzüge stimmt in wesentlichen Annahmen mit dem sog. 'erweiterten Standardmodell' Chomskys überein. Formuliert werden allerdings nur die Basisregeln, evtl. notwendige Transformationen werden nur angedeutet. Das Buch bietet keine Einführung in die Transformationsgrammatik, sondern eine Anwendung derselben auf einige Bereiche einer natürlichen Sprache einer natürlichen Sprache. Vorrangig werden die sog. 'Nebensätze', 'Satzadverbien' und Teile der Nominalphrase behandelt
