Abstract

Alles, was im Geschäft mit elektronischer Information Rang und Namen hat, trifft sich alljährlich im Dezember in London. Auf der größten europäischen Fachnmesse für Information zeigen sich die Trends der Branche für das kommende Jahr. Nie zuvor war das Interesse der Öffentlichkeit so groß wie 1994. Ein Drittel mehr Aussteller, ein Drittel mehr Besucher und doppelt so viele Journalisten wie 1993 sind eine Bilanz, die zeigt, daß die zukunftsgestaltende Bedeutung elektronischer Information und Kommunikation von immer mehr Menschen erkannt wird. Das Internet hat den Durchbruch zum Massenmarkt eingeläutet
