Abstract

Vorliegender Artikel besteht aus drei Teilen. Zuerst erfolgt eine kurze Einführung ins Thema, woran sich im zweiten Teil die Diskussion der wichtigsten Internetanwendungen anhand von Beispielrecherchen anschließt. Behandelt werden hier Gopher, Veronica, Telnet, Archie, Anoynmous FTP, elektronische Diskussionsgruppen und das WorldWideWeb (WWW). Der dritte Abschnitt befaßt sich mit Hinweisen auf geeignete Startpunkte für die Informationssuche im Internet
