Abstract

Der Beitrag sucht eine Antwort auf die betriebswirtschaftlich relevanten Fragen, denen sich Leiter von innerbetrieblichen Informationsvermittlungsstellen immer wieder stellen müssen: Ist es möglich, den Nutzen einer IuD-Stelle für die internen Kunden und das gesamte Unternehmen darzulegen bzw. zu quantifizieren? Welche Möglichkeiten bieten die empirische Sozialforschung und deren Instrumente für den Bereich der Informationsvermittlung? Können Informationsvermittler in der Sprache ihrer Finanzvorstände mit in Mark und Pfennig nachvollziehbaren Argumenten reden und damit ihre Position im innerbetrieblichen Bargaining um knappe Ressourcen verbessern? Wie kann man einer Rationalisierungs- oder Outsourcing-Diskussion begegnen? Wenn auch das im folgenden beschriebene Instrumentarium unternehmensindividuellen Besonderheiten angepaßt ist, so kann es teilweise übernommen werden. Die Autorin zeigt, daß sich die Informationsvermittlungsstelle der Zukunft, wenn schon nicht zu einem Profi-Center, so doch zu einem Service-Center wandeln muß, will sie gegenüber der Geschäftsführung bestehen
